Ablution Complex Project - Category E

The Hasene Ablution Fountain (Şadırvan) Project consists of water well and ablution complexes carried out by the Hasene International. Its primary goal is to provide people in regions suffering from drought and clean water scarcity with both access to safe drinking water and a hygienic space to perform ablutions.

These projects are much more comprehensive than standard water wells. Their main features include:

• Multi-Functional Structure: They typically consist of a deep borehole well, a large water tank, a solar energy system, faucets, and an ablution area where people can comfortably perform their rituals.
• Large Service Capacity: Beyond just providing drinking water, these complexes are installed in central locations such as mosques, schools, orphanages, or village squares, enabling hundreds of people to access clean water and sanitation facilities at the same time.
• Sustainability: Most models utilize solar energy systems to pump and filter the water, ensuring a long-lasting and cost-free operation.
