Hasene Brings the Humanitarian Tragedy in Arakan to Europe’s Agenda
With the international conference held in Cologne, Germany, the persecution and rights violations experienced by Rohingya Muslims were discussed with experts.

Hasene Association organized a comprehensive conference in Cologne to make the voices of Rohingya Muslims—one of the most abandoned communities in the world—heard.

At the conference attended by a panel of 20 experts including former ambassadors, ministers, academics, and activists, systematic human rights violations and the problem of statelessness in Myanmar were addressed in detail. The photo exhibition titled "Victims of Genocide" at the conference entrance revealed the extent of the tragedy.

Do Not Remain Silent: Persecution is Not Over

Hasene General Manager Mesud Gülbahar pointed out that the persecution in Arakan still continues, stating: "Our goal is to make the voices of our oppressed brothers and sisters heard in the heart of Europe and to contribute to their search for justice."
